"Supernumerary, Your Strange Friend" is a solo piece featuring an endearing and eccentric character whose stage presence evokes tenderness and fun. Dressed in green pants, a white shirt, red suspenders, and a red bow tie, this playful character carries a small jar of confetti, using it like a magic spyglass to discover imaginary worlds.
From the moment he enters the stage, he deploys a series of juggling and acrobatic moves that transform everyday objects into floating islands and flying ships. Each movement is charged with wit and grace, revealing a unique ability to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
Throughout the play, "Supernumerary" interacts with the audience in a frank and direct manner, revealing his most vulnerable and sincere side. With his curious gaze and comical gestures, he flirts with the audience, establishing an intimate and genuine connection. Through his performance, he reminds us of the importance of simplicity and playfulness, inviting us to see the world through fresh eyes and enjoy the present without taking ourselves too seriously.
