ABOUT THE P.png

This is a restless, unresolved, and unsophisticated work. It places a group of confused individuals in a public space who, amid shouts, whistles, and pillow-throwing, seek together to inhabit and survive the city. Their tools: proximity, play, and cooperation.

This proposal joins the vast array of simultaneous, and often contradictory, situations in Mexico City. The hubbub of the street provides a pleasant atmosphere, and unsuspecting witnesses become our accomplices; suddenly, we coincide in a fortuitous and unusual act of intimacy. There are races, triumphs, rituals, defeats, collapses, and, indeed, exhaustion. A lot, a lot of exhaustion.

We work with empathy, because in the city we appreciate the will of its inhabitants to do, create, live, and feel. We believe in the capacity we all have to recognize a friend in each other. Being so close, we have no choice but to carry each other.
