2014 / Production by Enrique Melgarejo

The memory of the dead remains in our bodies. Some more than others, that's true. No one can say that something inside us isn't activated when the first notes of La Macarena begin to play. The world wouldn't be the same without Los del Río. Just as it wouldn't be the same without Bruce Lee, Marcel Duchamp, Friedrich Nietzsche, Henry Ford, or Robert Oppenheimer.
This work is a collage of historical and popular culture figures whose lives and work have an undeniable influence to this day. Prominent artists, scientists, philosophers, politicians, and businessmen, whose lives resonate with our own. This is a tribute in which the actor channels those memories through his body, inviting us to look at the vast legacy that humanity, for better or worse, is leaving behind in its wake.
